My older sister has been collecting Lolita glasses ever since she was in high school. She had her first sip of wine from one of these and ever since then she’s been totally hooked. Her and her friends used to give each other these things for their birthdays, and my sister made a point to save every single one. She also ended up deciding to become a sommelier because of these things. Now she works at a very stylish restaurant and makes a great deal of money… And every once in a while she buys herself a new Lolita wine glassjust to relive old times.Last night when I was at her apartment I walked in and was hit in the face by a brilliant sight. She had set up this kind of cool little shrine, which was right in front of a window that faced the sunset. As we were having dinner and the sun was starting to set, I saw all of the light being broken by all of her beautiful Lolita glass, which acted like prism and sent all the sun’s rays shining all around the living room. She tells me that she discovered this on accident, but that when she did she decided to leave it because it lit up the whole room rather wonderfully.
